Hey ladies!
I really need some help, I CANNOT get red tones out of my dyed brown hair no matter how hard I try. I have been using ash based dyes, but red still shows up. I have tried adding a "cool" additive or "Un-Red" additives to my dye mixtures and the red tones still show through! I have even mixed some green hair dye with my shampoo. NOTHING has helped even a tiny bit. What else can I do!? As a last effort I am just going to dye my hair a level or two darker (with a cool undertone) and hope that covers every bit of red undertone that is showing through. PLEASE help! I really like my hair at the level it is now (a 6 light brown, dark blonde color) and I would prefer not going any darker, but if that is my ONLY option in order to combat these warm, red undertones I will!

How long has it been red?
When I had red and dyed my hair it had red tones but they faded by themselves.

It hasn't been dyed red =/ I have dyed it dark ash blonde/light ash brown but I just see red tones, not even a neutral brown.
