I've decided that for Christmas/my birthday this year I'd like to invest in a nice set of brushes. Ideally I'd like to get some synthetic ones as I'm really concerned about animal rights and welfare. I also have moderately sensitive skin.
Also I would be looking at a moderately small price range as Christmas is hard on everyone.
I have one BYS brush at the moment that I love dearly but I haven't really looked into them much and wanted to know your opinions?
Any recommendations or personal experiences? Feel free to add pictures as I do want pretty brushes :)

Real techniques are inexpensive and all of them are synthetic.

Real techniques are really good and also ecotools which are really inexpensive and soft and they are also eco friendly!

Real techniques are super soft and I haven't had a problem with them! They're synthetic so no animals are involved!
Their buffing brush is great for liquid foundation, just blends in right into my skin and makes application shorter and easier!
If you are starting out you should get the core collection (buffing brush, concealer brush, foundation brush and contour brush) and the eyes starter kit (blending brush, eyeshadow base brush?, brow brush and two others I can't name sorry).

I agree with Jacqlyn! I don't like real techniques at all! I do also love the Sonia Kashuk stippling brush!

I also don't like the real techniques for the same reasons that Jacqlyn mentioned. However, I do recommend Eco tools
