I think what you have put together is perfect. It's looks comfortable and modest. Most Halloween costumes these days are just an excuse for some girls to show more skin than a guy can handle. Lol. But the outfit you have out together is perfect. I would wear it!

if you haven't already bought the tu tu, I have an alternative that might make it cheaper.
supplies needed:
tulle
elastic
scissors

measure how much elastic you need my putting it around our waste. cut it, and just tie a knot.

get the tulle and cut it into long strips. you will need to cut SEVERAL pieces like this.

next, you will tie to tulle in the elastic. cut the tulle in the middle so it will make two tulle pieces hanging down from the elastic, instead of one.
lastly, you will do this all around the elastic till you get the desired amount of tulle for your tutu.
hopefully that makes sense :)
