So, what should I do? I was thinking about a short bob with bangs but it looks like I have to wait a couple of months before my hair reaches bob-length...
Is there any solution for this hair disaster? Can I do anything to make it look nice?

You could try braiding your bangs or your side parts back? I used to do that when my hairdresser bodged my haircut last. :)

Curl it!

I think layering the bangs more would add more shape.

Definitely layer it up or do a braid as Shaye suggested. :)

I agree that some layers would lift and give it movement.

Point cut the ends to feather it out and make it look more whimsical;) definitely get some layers in there and use a rough paste to lift and separate your hair. It will add movement and depth.
