Hi I have the Burt Bee's tinted lip balm and whenever I put it on, after a while, my lip becomes rough like sandpaper and a bit itchy. Has this ever happened to you with lip balm? I'm thinking about buying a new lip balm, so I was wondering what are your favorites.

Sorry I'm not really sure where this goes, but I put it in skincare because I guess a lip balm allergic reaction is related to skincare.

I'm going to say what ones I dislike and like and why :)
DO NOT like eos because they leave my lips sticky, don't last for long, and burn my lips. but I do like the mint eos lipbakm but that's it.
I LOVE burts bees ultra conditioning. it works fantastic! I use it every day! I also love baby lips. they're not really to cure cracked, dried, etc. lips but I love the tint! I also use a baby lips daily.

At night I just put Vaseline on and that tends to be moisturising but other ones I use are Korres lip butters, carmex, Nivea etc.I've heard amazing things about the nuxe reve de miel lip balm also.

Nivea, Baby lips, Vaseline and Lucas Paw Paw Ointment.

Blistex or nivea. I don't recommend using Vaseline because it will in no way fix the problem. it's a sealant, it doesn't moisturize. at best it will offer some temporary relief.

Carmex and blister will more than likely dry your lips because they both contain menthol or camphor

Nivea lip butters!

Any "medicated" lip balk contains menthol and/or camphor, which is what gives the "cooling effect" as if it is working, but it's not. Your lips become addicted to both of those ingredients making you think you need more when you don't. They actually irritate your lips further more and will dry them out even more considering they actually seal moisture OUT not soaking it in

Nuxe Reve de Miel is amazing! I tend to use that or a bit of Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream if my lips are particularly bad.

Try a cut cucumber, sesame seed oil (best after a shower to seal in all the moisture), or a lip MOISTURIZER. I also personally like aquafina lip moisturizer or aquaphor lip repair
