So I have really long hair poker straight hair but I want to curl ir wave it using no heat, so I've washed it but don't know what to do next should I plait it, put it in a headband or any other ideas. Lots of other suggestions welcome?

The are inexpensive at Sally's beauty supply and even at dollar tree. Conair makes them too. You can use them wet (I recommend using a little bit of setting lotion, argan oil (any moisturizer) and a little mousee) or dry on previously curled hair. How many you use depends on the looseness or tightness. Also you can wrap them flat for ribbon curls or coiled for curling wand waves

I like to blow dry my hair to slightly more than half dry then put it up in a really high sock bun and sleep on it. It gives you big loose soft curls. I have to go over it a little in the morning with a curling iron, but my hair in unruly, coarse and curly, I bet it would work completely heatless for your type of hair.

If you use foam curlers in dry hair overnight or even tie your hair around socks that usually works better for my long fine hair.

Use a headband and wrap your hair around it adding more as you go! sounds really strange and weird, but just lookup headband curls and it gives you an amazing look =)

I spray my damp hair with texturizing spray and braid it into a really loose braid (otherwise it will look crimped) and sleep with it and in the morning it's really wavy and beachy :)
