I'm dying my hair for the first time and didn't want to spend all the money going to the salon...I'm having a bit of trouble finding highlight kits, can I buy a Garnier Nutrisse Cream kit and then somehow just dye some parts of my hair?

You could look for a streaking cap if you can't find a whole kit :)

Honestly, if it's your first time and you're trying to do streaks, you're probably going to muck it up.
