Ok, so I've always been a cake face. I love to go full out everyday, but really it's time consuming and my face needs a break from it. Also, I'm young so I feel like I probably shouldn't be taking this much time to cover my youth, y'know? Any-who, can someone please just recommend me a good bb/cc/dd cream (and if you can tell me the difference between them all extra points for you) for my super oily skin? Also a concealer or powder. 😁 Thank you!

I think the maybelline fit me concealer is great and also for powder Rimmel stay matte. And for bb I would say garnier.

I don't really use any bb cream because I haven't found one that is truly full coverage. What I do if I want to lighten my coverage is take my regular full coverage foundation and spray my brush down with a make up finishing spray. Do not use a sealing spray however because it will leave patches because finishing and sealing products are completely different territories.
If you don't have any, you can also do it with water or contact solution.
I would also try to just cover problem areas only.

Bb cream is Beauty Balm. basically a tinted moisturizer with added benefits. cc cream is Color Corrector. pretty self explanatory. I've never heard of dd cream. I use Lumene bb cream. my skin is combination.
for concealer everyone always recommends mac pro long wear.

I say skip the creams, foundations and all that.
What I like to do is use just concealer, I use it for both concealing and highlighting my face. And then set it with the tarte loose powder. And just carry a retractable kabuki brush filled with powder for touch ups and whatever.
I of course add bronzer/blush/ and extra shimmery highlight to my face. But I always say it and always say concealer is all you need:)

The concealers I really love are the Maybeline age rewind dark circle eraser, and also the nyx hd with the wand. Another one I loooveee but it's a little more is the boo boo cover up. I've never tried it but I have heard good stuff about is Maybelline fit me concealer

BB creams are like skincare+makeup Some contain vitamin C to help fade discoloration, some have retinol in them to help reduce the appearance in lines and wrinkles, collagen to firm up the skin, vitamin E to moisturize and just a bunch of other stuff like lots of sunscreen, they use physical sunscreens which I feel work better and there's more pigment in them and their consistency is more gel-like and can be layered without getting cakey so very buildable coverage.
When the US released their BB creams they were literally just plain tinted moisturizers with a BB cream label.
They started to release CC creams which are more like the Asian BB creams as the CC creams usually have more coverage similar to the Asian BB creams.
I prefer the Asian BB creams and loved the Skin79 orange label one as it worked very well for my oily skin. Only has one shade but I bought pigment to mix with it so I got a custom color

I'm really loving Gosh cc cream. I had such a hard time finding a foundation that was a) light enough for my skin tone, b) lasted without caking or separating, and c) was oil free! This is perfect :)
