I responded that way because the way you made the thread was quite mean. The main sentence with the "...TO SCHOOL" makes it sound like it's completely inappropriate and like they're doing something wrong. And then you say would you rather go with little makeup or caked up makeup. What about in between like how I wear my full face but don't put on 10 pounds of makeup? And then how you're responding to others (including me) makes it sound like people who have acne of scars or imperfections that wear makeup are lying and doing something wrong. They are not doing anything wrong. They are making themselves feel better. It's not different than wearing heels to feel taller or wearing slimming colors/patterns to feel smaller. I completely agree with kitty, why judge what's on someone's face, if they want to go to school looking like they're about to go on stage, then that's perfectly fine. If they don't want to wear any makeup that's perfectly fine too. But there's no need to make people feel bad for wearing a full face to school or to the grocery store or whatever you deem "the wrong time" to wear a full face of makeup. Some people want to look natural, some people want to look completely different everyday. I'm in between those two categories but sometimes I want to contour the crap out of my face and change my face shape with makeup so I can look like a totally different person. Maybe I want to look like maleficent for a full day. But it's no ones place to judge because we all do it for ourselves. If you don't then you're wearing makeup for the wrong reasons.

I don't think it really matters but for me I rarely have time and have no problem with just mascara and powder, even with my acne. But if I have time I will do a winged liner and add eye shadow. I don't really care what other people wear though.

Ok we're disagreeing and yall have own opinions and I have mind I didnt mean for it to sound rude (Sorry) And Alyx I said TO SCHOOL because Would you rather wear a little or MORE to SCHOOL not home , store , or out of the state. They're not doing anything wrong because thats not what I'm asking for on the thread. I asked a simple q Would rather go to school with a little makeup or a lot yall going off something I said on MY opinion. -Oliva I wouldve given a clear view if it was about that. AND I'm not talking about acne or scars and I'm talking about from within. Once again...your going off to a whole different subject. and its nothig to get offensive over because its not about that and yes I agree with you but I'm not talking about that.

I guess my school makeup would be on the "little" side, though just because I don't wear foundation or any of that, it doesn't necessarily mean I don't wear a lot of makeup. I try to keep it natural with liner and shadow, but I have a habit of piling on the mascara because it makes my eyes look more open.

& btw I wear a full face to school almost everyday not because I'm trying to hide my imperfections or "my real" self but because its fun! & I love Doing all these different looks sometimes ill look sweet & cute, sometimes vampy & like a rock star, sometimes flirty sometimes natural, sometimes glam & looooove looking distinct everyday, and no that does not change how I am on te inside lol

Little
I haven't used make-up in a few days now. I just thought that I wanted to see how life was with a breathing face 😜. But I really like it! It made me slightly self concious at first, but after 1 or 2 days I saw so much improvement. Not only in the way I saw myslef, but also in the way my skin looks. My skin looks better than that it looked with the make-up! I still do wear mascara and a tinted lipliner and sometimes some eyeliner on my bottem waterline, but the rest of my make-up is put away in my closet. :)
So if you guys are up for a nice expiriment about your life without make-up go for it! Ooh yeah, btw, I can sleep for like 10 minutes longer every day because I don't do make-up for a big part anymore 😜😊

Oooh btw, I never did a full face of make-up. But just concealer, mascara, eye liner, blush or bronzer (depends), lipstick in a soft and natural colour.
But yeah :P

I say little, when I wAs in hs I wore mascara and not even everyday though cuz you know sleep. But on weekends I would do eyeshadow. The way I saw it was I've been going to school with this people for 4 years and most of them I went to middle school with too so I never cared what they thought of me. But now in college I am self conscious of what I wear like even with clothes. I've never been the type to go in sweats slippers flip flops etc. anywhere I don't know why that's just how I am so I see girls go slacker and comfortable but the definition of comfortable is different for everyone for me confortable are jeans and sandals and a simple tank or cardigan. Makeup I do neutral shadows and mascara but I honestly do makeup because I love it and not because I care of how people view it. I'll randomly wear like pink shadows or like blue shadows because I'm experimenting and even if I don't like how it came out I'll leave it cuz it's something different and new.
