On here I see a lot of girls posting what they're putting on their faces...TO SCHOOL
My Question Is: Would you rather go to school with a little makeup , or caked face?

My opinion: I think its a girl right to put whatever she wants on her body , but sometimes you should know when to do a full face. Half the time I see girls with self-Esteem or bad confidence. Does it show people the real them? No. Does it make that particular person with makeup feel good? Yes. But I don't see that lol. I rather go with a little makeup. Makes my skin breathe easier and make me feel good.

Little makeup if I had to pick between the two
I would prefer none though

Obviously natural, nobody wants to have cake face. But putting on a little more makeup than usual sometimes for school is nice too.

Maybe a little makeup. I never like caking on makeup, it feels gross.

I do a full face to school. I can go without makeup but I feel much more comfortable and confident with myself with a full face on. I don't go overboard but I do wear foundation, eye makeup, lips and eyebrows. I don't see how makeup doesn't show the "real" me. I have a passion for makeup, if you had a passion for shoes you wouldn't be wearing dollar store flip flops at any time, and it wouldn't be hiding the "real" you. If someone can't tell I'm wearing makeup, then they're obviously blind and have no common sense. But I wear makeup for me not anybody else. If people think I'm being fake or not being "real" then they need a reality check that some people like things that other people don't. I like wearing a full face but I don't hate on people who don't. It's not different than if I hated wearing skirts, I wouldn't hate on people who wear skirts. And If I wore a skirt, I wouldn't be a "fake" or hiding the "real" me. I'd just be wearing something different.
Part of it is I have Cosmo class, and we have to be presentable everyday for that class since there is an actual salon in my school and so customers come in. If I showed up with no makeup and in sweats I'd get kicked out of my Cosmo class for being unpresentable.

Little..but I'm curious, how do you figure having a lot of makeup on doesn't show people "the real them"? I'm utterly surprised how that thought generates just because one wears makeup, and I always find the answers to why one thinks that even more interesting.

-Alyx When I said "Showing the real you" I mean like your scars imperfections. Like inside of you. Like your using makeup to cover you up. You are talking about something ENTIRELY different. And you made the paragraph long as hell and I'm not even talking about that.

A cake face does not indicate the amount of make up one uses.
A 'cake' face has more to do with application.
Not using proper foundation, proper technique, prepping the skin prior to application, or dry skin which can happen due to whatever issues ( Bad skin care, medication, etc.)
So it is quite in fact very simple to have a 'cake face' and use very minimal make up.
Now my opinion?
If I could rewind the clock I would wear bold, bright, crazy, vampy, unnatural etc.make up to highschool.
It is not my place to judge why someone wears the amount of make up they choose to wear, and I could care less about what anyone thinks why I wear make up. What someone sees or doesn't is not my issue nor does it affect my life.
Make up is my fun art and I rather wear bold liner up to my brow and vampy lips then wear 'next to nothing.'
If I could wear my usual 'crazy cake face unnatural etc' make up to work then I would get up and do it.
Wearing minimal make up to work absolutely bores me and I find it to be wasteful since it's not why I intend on wearing it for anyways..
Like Miss Jacqueline always says..
I believe in big hair, Bold make up, and looking flat out unnatural.

Renay- Thank you for respecting what I said and not making a big deal. When I said that I meant like for people who has low self esteem or hate them selves so they wear a full face. Like your covering up your beauty but don't want no one to see. I'm not talking about people who wears makeup show them their selves , no I'm not.

Ciera you are coming across very biased and slightly rude. If people want to wear tons of makeup that's their problem not yours.

Kitty why didnt you wear it bold and fun when you was in high school? And I looooove your makeup! Personally maybe I would wear a full face but I sweat and touch my face too much lol so I rather go with the norm.

Olivia I'm not being Biased or slightly rude. If that is how you or anyone else feel I don't want it to make it seem that way. And thats not what I wrote the thread for. It was more of an opinion.v.

I always go to school with my full cake face on lol. I couldn't imagine going with "natural" makeup I'd feel like I wasn't myself lmao 😭😭😭

Definitely a little makeup - literally for me just eyeshadow and mascara and possibly a little powder and I'd be good to go! X.

-Grace sometimes I think about both like one day bold and then the next natural but I don't no I get nervous lol.
-Alexis I never said anything was wrong with that. I said some people not everyone. Are you mad? I'm not trying to make you or anyone feel mad or sad. Nobody can't voice their opinions and your taking it offensive. Everyone is different I never said You or EVERYONE is like that. The opinion was not meant to be hurtful. Alyx took the time to write that but I wasnt even really onto that. that was not what the thread was about.
