Yup it happens to me too, especially when I filter the photos. Don't even know what to do with it lol.

For pictures you'll need to apply it a bit heavier also things like translucent powder reflect light which will cause where ever you applied it to look lighter. If your taking pictures all day or just for your make up it helps to use a foundation that's a bit darker than what you normally use, it helps make you look not so washed out.

I have an iPhone and the quality isn't that great. Maybe the camera you're using doesn't have good quality? Try doing different things to your picture like contrast, exposure, highlights, brightness, ect. Some filters may bring out your make up more than others

I personally love doing tightlining with additional eyeliner above the lashes, dark black mascara, darken my brows with a dark brow pencil, and do one bright white eyeshadow that is almost fully covered with three different shades of brown eyeshadow to give it a popping, fading look :)
