So I'm going to Sally's today and I need to pick up a tub of bleach and what level developer should I get 30 or 40? I have dark hair with red tones so which developer and what brand of bleach is best?

I'd go for a 40 vol.

30. 40 could reeeally damage your hair.

30. 20 would allow you to slowly get to the color of lightness you want. It takes more time but it's a lot more detailed in terms of how light you want to go. 30 lightens a lot faster. 40 will get your hair.
