Are expensive rings sized differently?

I'm so confused because I have these rings from places like JCPenny's, and they are a size 9, but I printed off a sizing chart from Zales (printed at 100% so it's accurate) and according to that, I'm a size 11?? I'm just ao confused, I thought ring sizes were universal?

Some rings have different sizes! Your best bet is to go in store and ask to be sized! Those charts can be kattywhompus honestly. I had one that said I was a 9 or 10 but I'm actually an 8!

It would be best to go to the store and try it on if you can, I really doubt it's that far off! Print off size charts aren't always reliable. If I go by print off sizing charts they always say I'm a ten or eleven but I wear an 8.5 or nine from anywhere (expensive or cheap) it really only varies by like one size normally lol but no, ring sizes aren't really universal, at least I've got an 8.5 that fits perfect and a 9 that also fits perfect and a 10 that fits perfect all on the same finger haha.

Haha I was checking for my class ring, actually. I ordered one through the mail from the ring company to compare the charts. But yeah I'm glad I'm not the only one. Thing is, mom tried it and it was accurate for her sooo haha.
