How to put on liquid eyeliner?

Whenever I try and put it on it goes all over my eyelashes and it doesn't have a nice smooth straight line. I don't think it's a problem with the liner because I've tried a few. People say that practise makes perfect but I've been trying for ages now and I still can't get it right!

You might try gel liner. Using a brush gives you more control. Then go over it with liquid so you kinda have it mapped out?

Make sure you have a steady hand too. Resting your elbow on a surface while doing it can help too. Good luck!!

If you make a small mistake, use a slightly damp q-tip and rub the place that you messed up at gently :) liquid liner hardly ever goes on perfect, if you still find it hard to use I recommend a gel liner before hand, like aubrie said :)

Try lifting your eyelid a bit to get really close to the lash line. Or use tape going from your lower lash line to the tail of your brow to make the line super crisp. And don't use dried out liner, it will just end up dragging on your eyes and causing irritation. Good luck!!

Thanks guys!! I use gel liner instead for the moment but are you all saying I should use them together or just gel liner on its own?

Go on YouTube and search how to do eyeliner - and then just copy what they do :) xxxxx

I mean first do your gel liner and then go over it with the liquid. That way you're just coloring inside the lines and it will help you learn how to use the liquid and eventually you won't need the gel :)
