I definitely wouldnt wear the crop top. if you are serious about getting in, you want to look professional. while the crop top is cute, a bare midriff is not professional.

A pencil skirt, dressy flowy shirt tucked in, with a blazer would be a good outfit. If you're trying to be professional, you shouldn't wear a crop top on my opinion (:

I also feel like I wouldn't wear a patterned pencil skirt to an open day. I'd go with what Dereanna has said and chose simple, solid colours.
