I have dyed red hair and I use manic panic. I was thinking of adding it to my conditioner to keep it better longer but I live at college and we share a shower so I don't wana stain anything. thoughts?

That's what I used to do! Just wear gloves, and it shouldn't stain if you rinse it off right away :)

I've heard it works really well!! I've seen a lot of tutorials as well as talking to hair dressers, they've recommended it.

It depends on that material of the shower whether it will stain and how easy to clean it will be. Things like ceramic and porcelain can't handle certain chemical cleaners, but plastic/acrylic or fiberglass can.

It works but you may have to add quite an amount of dye because the conditoner dilutes the dye. What I used to do with red hair is get a spray bottle and fill it with water, add a few drops of your dye and shake it up; whenever you feel like your hair needs a touch up just spray it in and it'll keep the vibrancy of your colour without having to use lots of the dye. :)

Putting dye in conditioner dilutes it, and it'll be really weak and adds little to no color the hair.

It depends on the ratio of dye to conditioner. It can definitely make a difference; I put purple dye in my conditioner in a 1:3 ratio to tone away yellow-orange in my blonde hair. I tried a 1:2 and ended up with purple-tinged hair.
