Foundation routine/technique help?

I just purchased the YSL touché éclat foundation in BD10, because I wanted to have a more sheer foundation because my acne has cleared up and I'm happy to show off some skin! Aha ☺️ however, I can't find a nice way to apply this foundation, I've used the real techniques blender sponge, then I tried the foundation brush from the same range, alas it looked streaky and I resorted to blending with my fingers (however I want to keep my hands off my face so I need to find a brush). I just purchased the real techniques stippling brush to have another go at a new technique, however I have no idea how to use it! 🙊 anybody got some tips or even a review on the foundation (maybe it's not me but the foundation?! 😂)? Thank you in advance girlies 😘

I do not love the real techniques stippling brush. for me, it does not buff out the foundation as best as it can. (Lol, buff out) but it does not blend nicely to me. I do love the expert face brush and it does the job in most cases. Have you tried a more flat brush? I have and found for me it's better for minimal coverage needed. I have an example via Pinterest.

Hey Emma! I had the exact same problem when I first used the teint touche éclat. I tried it with a flat top kabuki but that gave me a way to streaky finish and I did not like it. Then I tried it with the beautyblender. I think the beauty blender is ok to use with this particular foundation but because the formula is a mix between creamy and runny I do not prefer to use a sponge with it. Right now I use a stippling brush with it and it works out great! Haven't tried the real techniques one though! I love my Zoeva stippling brush! Good luck babe xoxo Ellen 🎀

I love to use my Sonia kashuk stippling brush it leaves a lovely finish :D
