Is developer the same thang as bleach?...if not what's the different between the two? oh and has anyone tried the loreal hicolor highlights if so how is it?

I don't know exactly what it is but I'm 95% sure they are different. I think you need developer for powder bleach. I'm sorry I'm awful with hair, maybe check YouTube or google it.

They're different, bleach consists of both developer and bleach powder, peroxide (developer) is just what determines how many shades it'll lift and how quickly.

They are different.
Developer is what activates the ingredients in the dye or bleach. That's why when you dye your hair, you have to mix things together and then the dye starts changing colors and starts working.

Developer activates the beach and makes it lift the color out of the hair. Powder bleach does nothing without developer. The peroxide in the developer makes it lighten existing color
