Does anyone who has ordered from the Anastasia Beverly Hills website know if you have to pay import tax? I know shipping is $17.00 but I don't know when you actually receive the item if you have to pay customs tax on top of that??

Not always, it depends on the weight. I'd check on the UK customs website how much weight a package can be before paying customs charges:)

From canada I have to pay taxes but you should try doing a pretend checkout and see. In some cases ordering from sephora might be cheaper just as an fyi.

I had to pay import tax or some other tax when I bought a tiny bit of makeup from an American site... the website didnt tell me about the charges and they charged me?27 at my door Lool I had no clue.. I ended up not really saving any money at all xxx

I live in Italy and I just tend to avoid American websites as not only they can charge you at your door, but they may take your stuff away at customs and remove some or all of the things you ordered. Maybe it's different for EU and non-EU but I wanted to chime in.

Yes it a complete rip off. I got a letter from DHL asking for £19 customs tax when I'd paid abh $17.95 shipping. And I hate the mario palette.
