It will work if you use a dark cherry color! My friend has almost black hair and you could see the deep red it was so adorable! :)

No, works on all colors, you just have to let it dot for seven minutes and follow the instructions carefully. All colors work.

I did this for my daughter and her two cousins and my mom who is in her late 70s! Bought Kool Aide mixes and mixed it with conditioner to make a paste, then used aluminum foil to separate sections and gloved hands and a toothbrush to apply. I folded up the foils, left them in for a couple hours, and poof, Kool Aide hair! My daughter still has faint blue streaks months later! Worked best on my mom's white sections! All the girls were jealous! :)

Even with foiling the color in, I would tap the foils with a straightening iron. The heat seals in the color.

Get the sugar free kool aid to keep from getting sticky, but I love the look too! My friends and I did it this summer and if it is done properly it can be a cute accent to your hair!

I have done it pink and I have dirty blonde hair and I did pink lemonade and it stayed for about 2 months but it was cute and we cut it off not to long after cause I needed a trim
