Okay so I saw that if you have the primary colors, that like with paint you can make the rainbow. So I get the mixing down, I can make it in a paint tray (keep separate from art supplies.), but can I keep and store the leftover color? (Like if I mixed yellow and blue to make green, could I keep the leftover green.)

Probably if you put it in some kind of sealed container.

You could probably store it in a contact lens case

Just a little tip - red, yellow and blue aren't true primary colours. You're better getting cyan, magenta and yellow which are the same colours that printers use to make every colour :)
