I'm off to a funeral tomorrow and I usually like doing my makeup with big voluminous lashes and a bright pink lip, but I'm worried it may not be appropriate? What kinds of makeup looks would be better?

Just some foundation, face powder, and a little nude eyeshadow, some mascara and lip balm. Go super light!

I would do a cat eye and contour shadow and matte lipstick that isn't too bright, but I would wear bright lip colors since falls starting to set in!

Mmm, I mean if you'll be crying, waterproof...other than that just a muted look. You don't want to draw attention to yourself as one would at a party.

You really shouldn't be worrying about makeup other than making it waterproof!

I would wear some foundation some light to nude eyeshadow with some mascara.

I say do simple black eye makeup and nude lip. Like winged liner maybe

Well it's all personal preference. When my grandfather died and his sisters came with dramatic eyeshadow on, I was a little aggravated and couldn't help but viciously roll my eyes but some people see nothing wrong with it. it's all what you feel comfortable with.

Personally I would do liner, what ever you usually do on your face, a nude or pale pink lip and the lashes you like. Also, sorry for your loss.

something natural & waterproof.

What I usually wear to things like this is just my normal foundation routine, brows and mascara. Just everyday stuff I suppose :) if you'll be crying I'd suggest waterproof mascara or sunglasses.

Just switch out the bright pink lips with a nude color to tone it down.
