Lipstick colors for small lips??

So, I love lipstick but hardly ever wear it because my lips are so tiny, I feel like putting it on makes em look smaller. Any colors that would suit small lips without looking weird? I've noticed I can't pull off anything super vibrant or anything super dark... but I still want to rock some color! The color I am wearing in the pic is a Covergirl lipstick called Cherry Bomb that I have had for years... and I dull the color down quite a bit after applying it so that it looks more like a light stain lol.

Go for nude colours, they will make your lips look fuller:)

Actually vibrant colors are what really make them appear fuller. Dark lipsticks tend to be like wearing black, they're slimming. Making the lips look thinner. As for nudes, I personally don't like them. I have fuller lips but they always make my lips look smaller in my opinion. They sort of just blend into the rest of my skin at a distance and up close it's just meh.

I have small lips (hate hate hate them!!) But you know what, I wear both nude and dark colors!! the only thing I don't think I can wear is really really bright colors, but maybe that's just me! Embrace your lips cos they are beautiful and wear every color in the book :)

If you go to my profile I have a double photo of me wearing a pink lipstick on one side and a dark red on the other side - my look completely changes even tho it's only my lip color that actually changes, but I think I can pull of both :)

Also try outlining your lips and thn apply the lipstick :D.

Matte lipsticks always make my lips look fuller. Also lip lining SLIGHTLY outside my lips. Not enough to make me look fake but just enough to make my lips look a bit fuller. I love MAC mattes like Mehr, Kinda Sexy, Please Me. And I love the NYX Matte Lipsticks in Euro Trash, Natural, Indie Flick, Angel. Also the NYX Matte lip creamed in Zurich, Stockholm, Prague, and Copenhagen.

Oh and the Make Up For Ever lipsticks are to die for. They make your lips feel great, they last all day, and aren't matte but aren't incredibly shiny. My absolute favorite is N4. The NARS lipglosses are great too. I love Chihuahua.

Sabrina and Aurora are right, I felt limited for years by my small lips. That I couldn't wear bright lips, etc. Now I've come to embrace my lips! I wear bright lips all the time! I Love bright lipstick.
