I use my heart protectant right after a shower and my hair is damp, let it dry, and then spray it on again before heat use. Don't spray enough to where your hair is wet, just spray it lightly and evenly through out the hair. It shouldn't leave it soaking haha.

You just spray it very lightly, your hair shouldnt get wet(: itll work just as well.
