So I just have a question if I were to wash my hair tonight and while it was wet put some heat protectant in my hair and then sleep on it wet would I have to still put some on again before I use heat.

I would personally haha that's what I do. After the shower and right before I use heat on my hair.

Unless you're using a hair treatment that does more than one thing (like it's a 10, which it's actually in my hair right now), I would wait until morning. :)
