So I dyed my hair black but I still have dye around the edges of my face, is there anything I can use to get it off?

Nail varnish remover, lemon juice.

@Bethany I have limes but not lemons... Could that work?

DONT USE LEMONS! They are so so bad for your skin! Use nail polish remover (be careful!) or, if there's a beauty supply store near you, buy some dye remover wipes.

I hate to disagree with Kenna but lemons, an all natural assiduous fruit are much better to much on your face than a man made alcohol filled nail polish remover.

I agree with sydney, nail polish is dangerous to put on your face or skin. Rubbing alc or witch hazel would be a better option to remove the dye if you don't want to use lemons.

You can try exfoliate the colour off your skin,
Make up remover,
In future try using Vaseline around the edge of your face so that if there is a bit of mess it's easier to clean up

I am going to contest putting nail polish remover on your face, especially those with the content of acetone. Like the other have mentioned, your best bet is alcohol or witch hazel. They also sell a product at most stores specifically for this issue. I had to get it once. It's inexpensive but effective.

I dye my hair black and I use a cotton a ball with a little rubbing alcohol on it to remove it. Also next time put a little Vaseline along the outside of your hair line before you dye it. Keeps the dye from staining your skin.

It's okay Kenna, I've used nail polish remover to get rid of dye too lol! Obviously it isn't the best idea but It worked so I went with it lmao. :) it didn't hurt me or leave a bad reaction but I do agree it's probably not the best alternative but when there's nothing else, it works. I think dye removal pads are the best alternative or just prepping your scalp in future like the other girls suggested with Vaseline to prevent staining.

Yeah I would never put nail polish remover or lemons on my face. Color Oops makes wipes specifically for this and they have worked the best. Makeup Remover works too but only right after you are done coloring.

Just on a cotton bud I have and do use it/ but then I wash my face with the same stuff surgeons use to scrub up with prior to theatre and then put benzo peroxide on...
