I'm attending a wedding for the first time and I went dress shopping today and impulse purchased a dress (mum rushed me) and I didn't think about whether if it would stand out too much or not. My fam is only going to the reception since we wont be able to make it to the church ceremony. Please give me your opinions on the dress!

Don't people usually wear one or two coloured dresses to weddings? I looked at my friends pics when she went to a wedding and no one really wore a dress with patterns :;

You could pair it with a cranberry, lavender or baby blue cardigan while at the church if you make it than take it off at the reception

Red or black flats would be great with it

That's totally appropriate! Really pretty and the print is whimsical and sweet.
I think standing out is awesome, that's one of my main goals! I went to a wedding in a black leather skater dress over a year ago and I was still getting compliments about it from the bride and grooms family last night!

Very cute! Especially since you guys are just going to the reception. I think it's appropriate. I think basically the only rule regarding wedding attire is to not wear a white dress, haha.

I always go for a black dress, but that suits me. My friends always go for the bold patterned dress! Weddings are happy events so its appropriate to express it with a vibrant dress!
