I find primer can make skin even more oily, anyone know of one which overcomes this?

Sounds weird but milk of magnesia apply it with a cotton ball not to much then apply your primer works great for oily skin..

@Cecilia C., I do the MoM thing on my forehead when I wear my bangs down all day. Works great! I have even applied to my underarms and it kept me dry all day, better than store bought deorderant!

i've tried MoM and it works but tends to not be as affective the more you use it. i swear by shu uemura's stage performer and my skin is OILY.

I have combination skin but the most oily part of my face is my eyelids. For a while i couldnt find a primer that would keep my makeup still all day so i started using Murad mattifier on my lids before i apply makeup and it works great!! :)

I actually use the murad oil control mattifier as a primer it's the only thing that really works for me. Most just get me more oily :/

First off you should try using oil blotting sheets to get the excess oil off your skin before you use your primer. And as far as that goes I use BB boomer from missha. I have an oily tzone and find that it keeps me from being oily or greasy throughout the day. Also I don't use foundation. Just a bronzes so I think that helps with oil control as well

I agree with Alma, I have uber oily skin as well and I've tried many brands, but the only one that works for me is the Sephora Anti-shine...even in the hot and humid desserts of the Middle East and Australia.
