Ok so I wanted to know what's the difference between the original foundation and matte one? Also is primer actually required?

The primer isn't necessarily required, but it will definitely help create a flawless application, and can improve certain skin concerns. The difference between the two:
The Original has a more natural, luminous finish, while the matte obviously has more of a natural matte finish. With the original, it contains skincare that gradually will improve the appearance of your skin. With the matte, it can absorb any excess oil, minimize the appearance of large pores, and increase your cell turnover...in other words, younger/healthier skin. Both contain spf 15, contain skincare that won't dry out your skin, and are very buildable.

Thank you so much! I really wanted to know before I purchased anything. :) by any chance do you know for the bareskin foundation which one is closer to the original foundation in tan

The BareSkin foundation runs pretty comparable to the orginal's shades. You can always go get color matched for free, or see if your local store can give you samples in several shades if you don't have much time.
