What is a way to clean your brushes with out using baby oil?

If you have a high percentage of isopropyl alcohol you can also use that to clean and disinfect, just cleaning with soap/shampoo and water won't disinfect.

^ what Erin said. I honestly just use dish soap. It gets product out because it's made to cut down on grease/oil, it works well especially for brushes I use with liquid products, but it also usually has antibacterial properties in it as well. But if you just want a quick method for in between deep cleanings the way Erin mentioned is great. You can put some in a small spray bottle and just spritz them down and rub them gently on a cloth. A lot of companies make brush cleansing sprays and shampoos too, but again look for something that also disinfects.

Dr. bronners castile soap works fabulous for me. I actually add it to a foaming pump and dilute it. Works for me and is gentle on my brushes.
