When should I use this?

I got this when I bought my dye at Sally's. It is just a sample but it was like a dollar, I couldn't resist! Anyways when should I apply it? When my color is close to done with? Or before it fades? My hair started out a little brighter than it is now but it isn't too bad considering it's only been a week it hasn't turned orange, really it's just turning back into my original brown. So when should I use this? Now or wait a little bit longer?

I would wait a bit longer and use it later when it maybe starts fading out because now it's fresh dyed:)
