I understand what you mean. I used to face that same problem. But do you, be yourself don't let anyone tell you what to wear.

I would tell them to buzz off honestly lol. It's your face, not theirs. And makeup CAN be bad for your skin if you don't remove it thoroughly and don't have some kind of skincare routine. But honestly I hate when people say that because it isn't anywhere near as bad as tanning, isn't as permanent or altering as tattoos or piercings so it's like just leave me be. I also tell people that I don't wear it for them, it's for me so their opinion is already irrelevant lol. My boyfriend doesn't care usually. The only feedback I've gotten from him once was when I asked if he liked a shade of lipstick I had on and he surprised me by saying he thought it was too bright and liked darker colors on me. It surprised me because he LOVES the 80s so I figured he'd like the brighter pink shade lol. I don't live with my parents anymore and I started wearing makeup at a young-ish age. At first they hated it but I grew up and my tastes changed and I got better at it and they sort of just stopped caring lol. They knew I loved it and was into art and stuff so it really shouldn't have been a surprise.

I get it from my sis and annoying brother! I'm the youngest so I get picked on. I get with clothing though I like wearing weird different things I can't help it! but my boyfriend is the one who hates when I wear eyeshadow, bronzer etc. the "natural look" he likes! idc though I do what I wanna do! though they can make me feel dumb.  :/

I get it mostly from my friends because I have mosty "boyish" hobbies and so my friends are mostly guys or not so girly girls- they often get annoyed when we're on vacation together and I wanna put on make up (they need only 5 minutes to get ready haha), so I just don't put on make up.
My mom likes me wearing makeup, I sometimes even do her makeup for special occasion- she thinks I'm talented haha :)

Funny my boyfriend use to say I like you better without makeup. But he now loves and comments when I do, especially a bold lip or a dramatic eye.

Nope. I don't care what they think about it. My mom used to be offended by me wearing red lipstick. She thought it was "too seductive." Now, I wear it today and she's like "your makeup is so pretty!" Wearing and wearing it well really does make the difference. No one can tell you anything then.

My older sister, she'll literally come up to me &&' whipe my face. It's so so annoying. She'll try &&' find every little thing &&' be like ew' it's so igh.

I think my aunt is about the only person who criticizes my makeup, or at least shes the only one who says it to my face at least. But then again shes criticizes everyone, for just about anything, so her opinion is not too important to me. No matter where I'm going I usually have a full face of makeup on and thats only because I am just obsessed with it. Yes I can go days without wearing it but I just love creating new looks every single day. But other than that nobody really says anything except I receive compliments on it. It really is an art that I have grown to love.

Yes one of my three sisters. I started wearing makeup at a young age, and I got my other 2 sisters to start wearing makeup. But my 1 sister still didn't/doesn't like it. And she always made/makes fun of us and call us clowns haha. I actually think it's pretty funny though. I'm not offended by her anti-makeup rants.

Yes, only for the reason that I'm kind of young. It especially bothers me when people only a few years older than me go off saying things like "WELL WHEN I WAS LITTLE I ACTUALLY TRIED LOOKING MY AGE AND DIDNT EVEN WEAR MAKEUP". Maybe I go a little bold on the brows and wear colorful lipstick sometimes but c'mon I try to wear it to enhance my features, not to cover them.
