I like it! It is not super bold, but it definitely doesn't look like you have pink eye (I know what you mean). I really like your liner on the upper lid too - nice and smooth!
If you want to go bolder, maybe go for a darker, deeper red in the outer corner/crease? Just don't carry it up too much towards the brow bone, because then I think it may start to look like you got punched!

Cristin, I don't think it looks like you have red eye at all. Can you post a pic of the look you are going for?

Ohhhhhh I like the wet then dry approach. I did that with mint green look that wouldn't cooperate lol. I'll try that for sure! Thanks!!

To make the colour more vibrant apply a primer and also apply a white base underneath. I recommend nyx jumbo eye pencil in milk

Do you think the white base will make it look pink?

I really like it. I like how you blend the colors. It looks really good. Although, I do agree with some ladies. It doesn't looks red.

An easy DIY way to help the color be more vibrant is to add Vaseline before putting on the eyeshadow.

Vaseline? hmmm. what about aquaphor??

Would probably work too! Something that really helps the eyeshadow stick would keep it pigmented. The Vaseline/aquaphor trick may crease but if it doesn't work, than try a primer.
