I have natural brown hair and I went blonde last summer by getting it done professionally. Now I want to go blonde again but I want to try home remedies or box dyes first. Does lemon juice work or anything like that, my current hair color is a medium shade of brown. Thanks!

No lemon juice won't work but if you want a prelightener That will lift a good amount of shades the Nordic blonde range from shwartzkopft is really good, when I use these it's to avoid using bleach but this does the same thing with less damage. I get the one that will lift the most shades, really is a great product. :)

Lemom juice does not work! The acid makes your hair so dry damaged and brittle. It really ruins your hair I wouldn't try it. Honey works well as a home remeady to lighten it. You tube natural honey hair lightening or something along those lines.

Shaye does it work for almost black hair aswel? I really want to go lighter and I don't want to bleach it cause I'm afraid that my hair will get ruined.

I'd say it would but maybe wouldn't lift as many shades as it would it it were brown but yes I think it would work :) much easier and safer than bleach if you're not familiar with at home bleaching.

^ that might work but I wouldn't recommend it because it's not a for sure that it will lighten and may just be a waste of time and more damage to your hair then necessary.

Chamomile tea should work if your hair is already on the lighter side :)
