Lemon juice is very very bad for your skin!! its an acid and it can burn your skin very bad! You might not see the damage right away but later on you will! So do never use lemon juice on you skin!!
And Nora I don't think it is possible at all to change your skin tone like that... just embrace what you got!

To go from olive skin to rosy white...its not going to happen. Olive skin is beautiful!! All skintones are beautiful but embrace the tone that you have. As far as lemon goes...what works for one might not work for another. Using it could actually backfire on you and cause damage to your skin.

Nora, you are freaking beautiful. Don't change a single thing about you. The grass is alway greener on the other side. Embrace what you got coz some many people out there have so much worse! X.

I think lemon juice doesn't suit to Eurpeon 's white skin. I am from south aisa. and I use freely lemon juice directly on my face.

Lemon contains citric acid, which is highly corrosive and is photosensitive. When applied directly to the skin, it causes the protective outer layer of the dermis to essentially dissolve, leaving skin vulnerable, sensitive, and irritated. Under UV light (such as regular sunlight), a reaction occurs that produces strong chemical burns.
Any bleaching effect is heavily outweighed by the risk of serious injury. Just because you don't see visible damage at the moment does not mean that it is safe. Do NOT use lemon on your skin, regardless of race/ethnicity/skin type.
The only way to get more pale SAFELY is to avoid sun exposure (though not to the point of creating a Vitamin D deficiency). Use high SPF sunscreen, wear long sleeves/pants, wear a hat, carry a parasol... Even then there is a limit to how light your skin will be. As for getting a "rosier" tone: it can't be done. Your skin's undertone cannot be changed, so if your skin is olive toned it will always be olive toned, regardless of whether you are dark or fair.
Honestly, embrace your skin. All skin tones are beautiful. Think about it, people spend hundreds of dollars and risk cancer and wrinkles to get darker. Everyone wants what they can't have. So while you may think being pale is the way to be, some pasty chick is baking herself trying to look like you. ;)
Embrace your gorgeous self just as you are.

That has nothing to do with my problem every human has different skin. I have blackheads and pigment on my nose that I didnt have before. this year my skin is different from last year. the skin changes with the years. so why not take care of it and have a fresh skin without blackheads or pigment.

I didn't mean to sound evil. but I have starting to get problem with my skin. I'm proud of my skin. I don't have problem with pimples or anything. its just getting darker for every year I don't understand how. my nose color is noooot the same as one year ago. why? I didnt think of it until one girl comment my skin. then I started to look closer for every time I look in the mirror.

Okay no need for snark, my comments addressed the thread and were on topic. Nowhere in your first or subsequent posts did you mention anything about blackheads or hyperpigmentation-- you asked specifically how to get whiter, rosy skin.
For your issues I recommend talking to an esthetician or dermatologist. If you want, you can try talking to Traci L. here on Beautylish, she's an expert in skincare. Here is her profile: http://www.beautylish.com/profile/rziznmi

Nora, if black heads are a problem I recommend having a facial and seeing how much it helps the situation.
I have the same prob with my nose, I wear reflective sunnies which have cause me to have a different colour top of my nose than the rest of my face. You can help pigmentation by trying creams that have vitamin c.
On another relevant note, I have a hard time understanding what people gain out of pointing out someone else flaws. I always wonder if it's related to their own ego and self esteem xx
