Maybe get a curling iron with a smaller barrel so that the curls are tighter and use hairspray right after you curl it

It's not big it's like 3/4 an inch or maybe an inch.

If you want to buy a new curling iron in the future look into this one (below) but I would maybe do to your usually hair salon or a hair shop and ask them and get them to test the product on you so you can decide

I usually curl my hair after its straightened as well. I leave it straight for a day, then curl it with my straightener, and they come out like the pic you posted.

It also looks like your curling it in, and in the picture, the curls go out, try curling them out :)

Curling irons never work for my hair, that's why I recommend using a thin straightener. :)

I would try what Faith suggested. My hair never holds a curl even though it's naturally wavy expect for when I used that. The only thing is that it costs 99 dollars (in GA at least) and you can only do small sections at a time.

Try blowdrying your hair straight then curling it.

Put overnight big curl rollers into your hair, it should come out really nice in the morning, this is probably worth a try.. I think rollers give nice results :)

And they don't cost too much.. You could also try flexirods, the curls will be tight at first but you can pull them down and loosen them, I tried flexi rods and they're amazing.. They're flexible rollers.

I honestly wish I had curls like your natural ones.
