Hey, in like a month, my whole (school) year is going to a theme park as an end of year trip..What should I wear? I can't wear a skirt or a dress cause of the rollercosters. My school has also set some rules; not too much skin and no shorts. I have the thighs and ass of an elephant so please bare that in mind. Thank you :)

This is unrelated...kind of..but they seriously won't let you wear shorts to a THEME PARK in JUNE? That is ridiculous. I understand setting a length rule but none at all? Wow. Lol. It's been a while since I was in high school but only like 4 years and I feel like already things are so much different. Just wow. Anyway that was my 2 cents lol. I hope I didn't take everyone too off topic :p.

^ I agree that it's ridiculous, but different schools have different rules. My highschool, for example, has almost no dress code whatsoever, but the other highschool in town is a bit stricter when it comes to clothing. It's pretty dumb, not being able to wear shorts in june.

I just got back from my class trip to six flags and lots of people wore dresses/skirts and it was just fine. If they seriously won't let you wear shorts even if they are an appropriate length just wear a skirt. When you go in roller coasters your skirt will be held down with the seat belt.

Caitlin, I live in England, we have uniforms on a daily basis (blazer, knee length skirt, white shirt and a clip on tie -.-)and this is the only day all year that we don't have to wear it. So everyone is going to be really judgemental about what people wear. And knowing British weather, it's probably going to rain anyway.

Ah I see now, whole different country lol. I know it's a HUGE issue here in American schools. They police the girls but not the boys.
