My cousin uses that it's like her HG primer, I use the one for oily skin and I like it :)

I've never used that, but I've heard good things about it. The loreal magic perfecting base works well.

I use Max Factors primer which is really good! I also use NYX pore filler (doesn't fill my pores) but it smooths the appearance of my face and skin then I use my max factor primer. Both of them together make my make up stay on for ages! From 6 in the morning till 11 at night! Gives my foundation a more flawless look. Also max factor have got a good concealer stick for dry skin if you wanted to know 😊

I made the mistake of buying one of these on a whim years ago, it turned out to be the orange one Jacqlyn mentioned, needless to say with my brown face it was a no-go and got chucked straight into the trash. You look kinda light/pale from your profile pic, I wouldn't trust it, there are other DS primers that won't make you look like an oompa loompa, lol.
Don't know about the dry skin one though (I'm combo) plus I wrote Rimmel off after the awful encounter w/ the orange primer, I use Neutrogena Shine control now, wouldn't recommend though, there's probably better DS primers for cheaper :/

I have dry skin and have used many drug store primers. I've used 001 and honestly as a primer its OK
Cons:
Not as long wearing as NYX or Hard Candy primers do
It tends to make the tzone area shiny (even on my dry skin)
Doesn't minimize the appearance of pores
Pros:
Does leave a smooth canvas to work on
The orange color of the product is really helpful if you have gray marks (maybe from acne or if you suffer from any hormonal disease) and serves as a convenient color corrector.
Can be worn on its own because of such color correcting properties.
Its water based, so its less likely that you'd get a reaction if you have sensitive skin (unlike a lot of silicone based products)
Side notes:
It doesn't smell gross (Not like the almay one oh god ew) but it does smell make-up-y if that makes sense?
Good luck with your drug store primer hunt :) Hope this helped!! :D

I have oily combo skin and I really like the 002 one. I have yet to try the other one.

I hate 002. Its thick and goopy not matifying at all. It makes every foundation I try go on weird.

For a demi matte foundation I thoroughly enjoy Rimmel's Match Perfection Light Perfecting Radiance Finish. Its more of a satin finish but with powder it appears more demi matte and is fulllll coverage :D

I love the 002! I use my fingers to apply it. I just want to touch my face all day long because it's so smooth! :)
