So I naturally have pin-straight hair and it is thick and I have a lot of it. I always have trouble keeping it in curls because it comes out 2 hours later. I have Hafez my hair curled professionally oncertain and it still came out within two hours. so do you guys know any good hair products that would keep my hair in curls for at peat 24 hours?

I have the same type of hair. Here's how I create my curls:
1)Spray hair with water, or apply hair mousse
2) Split hair in half at the back of head, I don't know if you have a side part, but if you do, then keep the part at the top of your head and split it into equal halves down the back of your head.
3) Twist one side of your hair away from your face. Make sure to twirl the entire chunk of hair, ie, the centre once it is all gathered too.
4) You can either keep this twisted piece tucked under your chin, or in your mouth...your choice
5) Twirl the other side
6) Secure both twists together at the base of your neck with a hair tie. Yes, you will look like you have a beard, I know.
6)Keep the two sections separated an twirl them both away from the face.
7) Secure again a few inches down.
8) continue until you reach the tips. Sometimes, you can use a really small elastic and twist the end bits if you what them to look more natural.
9) Sleep in it!
10) Slowly remove each hair tie and run finger through hair to loosen up the curls.
11) If you want to make this last super long, spray with some hairspray.
I know that this seems a bit crazy, but I swear by this process. lol. As I said earlier, I have the same type of hair as you; stick straight, and when I do this, it usually lasts the whole day and night even if I don't use hairspray.
I hope the steps were clear and that this helps you!

When I had girls with your hair type that needed curls all day for whatever event, we always start with a shampoo, gel mousse and roller set and let it completely dry under the dryer before even messing with the curls. Some hair just doesn't hold heat curls well no matter what product you use. I would look into ways to get curls using wet hair that you sleep on like rag curls, foam rollers, or headband curls, pin curls, or braids. Use a setting lotion, mousse or gel and wetstyling of choice. Wake up , unroll, brush out, add oil or styling cream and smooth into curls. Hope this helps. I know these methods are old school but they work. There are a ton of tutorials on wet sets, pin curs, rag curls, curl formers etc.
