It doesn't look too curled. just wavy. you could try making it sit with some curl cream or leavin in or hair spray. spray some in your plans n den smooth it out on the hair. it'll help to settle them.

Well, there's one tip to actually grow it out though. you might want to clip the first section of hair, so that the hair would grow evenly. and for curling I would highly suggest perming rods.

I was going to say that perhaps the extensions were too long for placement on hair of your current length. Perhaps you'd have better luck rolling your curls UNDER rather than back...and then...after they cool...put your thumb and index finger together and (while holding the bottom of a section curled hair with your other hand) use your fingers to sort of tease UP the curl. That should give it volume and help blend them better without tangling. Good luck!

In this picture you can sorta see a shorter piece of my hair "hanging"" over the edge of the curling iron as I curl my longer pieces of hair and my extensions. I hope that visual helps a little bit-I can see the details on the computer, but I don't use the app, so if you're viewing it on a mobile device you probably won't be able to see the shorter pieces of hair in this photo
