It doesn't look too curled. just wavy. you could try making it sit with some curl cream or leavin in or hair spray. spray some in your plans n den smooth it out on the hair. it'll help to settle them.

Well, there's one tip to actually grow it out though. you might want to clip the first section of hair, so that the hair would grow evenly. and for curling I would highly suggest perming rods.

Are they clip ins?

I was going to say that perhaps the extensions were too long for placement on hair of your current length. Perhaps you'd have better luck rolling your curls UNDER rather than back...and then...after they cool...put your thumb and index finger together and (while holding the bottom of a section curled hair with your other hand) use your fingers to sort of tease UP the curl. That should give it volume and help blend them better without tangling. Good luck!

I used to wear clip in every day and I actually wore them curled more often than straight. The curls turned out as much looser waves/curls, but I found looser waves easier to blend than tighter curls or straight extensions. I would take the curling iron and wrap my hair and the extensions from the length between my chin-shoulders and below. I would leave any short layers or pieces of hair out of the curling iron so they didn't end up flipping outwards or sticking out in a weird way. I would then take my straightening iron and go over my shorter layers and any hair that flipped outwards and out of the long curl/wave I just made. Basically, curling your extensions then straightening the short layers definitely helps. I also cut my extensions to blend with my hair better, so any of my short layers that did stick out didn't look as weird. I definitely recommend going to a salon and having them cut the extensions to blend into your hair to help with this.

In this picture you can sorta see a shorter piece of my hair "hanging"" over the edge of the curling iron as I curl my longer pieces of hair and my extensions. I hope that visual helps a little bit-I can see the details on the computer, but I don't use the app, so if you're viewing it on a mobile device you probably won't be able to see the shorter pieces of hair in this photo
