I've had this for quite sometime maybe 3years. it doesn't smell weird or look funny. I was wondering should I just throw it out anyway.

Only if you feel that you really want a new one or if it starts breaking you out?! I have had a couple of the MAC Skin finishes for 2 years now and they're working fine still so I won't be throwing them out soon :)
