I love Aveeno shaving cream! Although I am an avid waxing fan and rarely use a razor but whenever I do, I use Aveeno. Its the only gel that doesn't give me bumps and ingrown hair, plus it has an inhibiting agent to slow down hair growth, it really works wonders!

It could be the razor? I downgraded to a cheaper razor and irritated my skin at the beginning and got painful razor bumps.

Ugh I get that sometimes too. I agree with Yanin, razor quality matters. Also, I really like the eos shave cream! Oh, and it's good to give whatever body part youre about to shave a good soak in warm water before shaving to soften the hairs.

Make sure to use a sharp razor! A dull one will cause ingrown hairs. Also, soak your skin before you shave! That way it will loosen the hairs and make it easier for removal. Also shave will the direction of hair growth. Shaving against the grain might be a closer shave but it is more likely to cause ingrown hairs. To get them out try soaking your legs in the bath for a long time and pull out the hair with a tweezer. To avoid this in the future also consider waxing.
