It's super expensive to get your nails done here. Like 60-90$ for a basic set and definitely over 100$ if you want anything else done.
So since my nails have gotten longer I would like to try doing them myself with shellac or the gel kits, just over my natural nails.
I've seen that places like Shoppers have a few kits out, but I also know that Sephora does too.
Are you girls using any or have any to recommend?
I'm definitely looking for a good curing light and coloured polishes.

I like the sensationail gel kit. It comes with everything in the kit needed to do your nails. It's around 60 bucks but it only comes with one nail polish color. So you would have to buy another bottle of nail polish if you don't like the starter colors. I bought the raspberry wine one. You have to be careful when applying each layer of gel, if any gets on the cuticle or eponyichium the polish will lift right off in strips.

Ok thanks! Where did you buy it?

I bought mine at walmart. But you can buy them at cvs, walgreens, target, or online on their website. I like it I haven't tried the red carpet nail kit yet. I would check out both.
