Black hair? HELP!

Last night I used Clairol L'image Ultimate Colour hair dye in Dark Brown because I wanted to go back to my natural colour, it went from my caramel dark blonde to BLACK. I honestly don't know why or how I get rid of this but I just need help ASAP 😩 Black doesn't look good with my skin tone, it never has and I need to lighten this or something right away.

Yeah dark brown always looks super dark in the beginning esp cause your hair was a blonde. I'd use a color oops otherwise just be patient and maybe wash your hair more often to make it fade faster.

I thought that too, but when it rinsed out it came out purple and I can't find any hints of brown in it, I'm just worried it'll fade into a duller dark grey like usual black instead of a brown😔

My cousin always dyes her hair and takes the dye out till she gets her perfect color to match her extensions, she strips it out.

Maybe if you wait and keep washing your hair itll get lighter

I tried washing it three times with head and shoulders so hopefully that will help.
