Extensions aren't good for your scalp. Start using organic shampoos and conditioners. There great for your hair. Regular shampoos and conditioners have sulfates which are very bad for your hair follicles. Look up how bad sulfates are. I changed to organic shampoo and conditioner, and my hair got healthy and grew!

I agree with cookie and Ally, you should probably stay away from the hair extensions for now. And, yeah, hair does grow pretty slowly and if you're hair is wavy or curly, it feels slower because the curls or waves make your hair appear shorter because I know mine does.  😊

Have you tried taking prenatal vitamins? Adding leave in conditioner for long hair?

Jocelyn s. I was going to try the prenatal but I'm in college and my doctor is back home I feel stupid for saying this but I wasint shur if you could like do it over the counter or whould I need a prescription from my doctors.

I used not be able to grow my hair out until I learned my hair and how to take care of it, I learned that all though I have very thick hair it has to be taken care of very gentle, and my hair loves water, and conditioning

Also drink lots if water and try just a regular multi vitamin.

Well my hair is dry but very very big and curly I don't need like any oils and gells in my hair cuz I'm mixed so I have the white side my moms hair
