You can mix lemon juice and baking soda in to a paste to get rid of blackheads I personally use clearisil cream and face wash.

Don't use lemon juice and basing soda on your face oh my gosh guys. You'll be better off going to a dermatologist

If you use lemon just be sure not to keep it on your face for too long - it should be used as an exfoliant that sloughs off dead skin cells that you wash off after 5-10 minutes of it being on - and NEVER go out in the sun with lemon on your face or you could burn your skin so always wash it off and then of course wear SPF to keep the dark scars from getting darker

I made a cleanser from honey and cinnamon that has helped my acne a lot! It exfoliates and shrinks and prevents pimples. It's super easy and simple too 😀

Home remedies rarely work. Sorry. If its a full blown acne issue your dealing with, there are two options, an aesthetician or dermatologist. I've been working with acneic skin for many years. There are some cases I can't even solve. Sometimes the only option is aggressive.

Sorry if thats not want you wanted to hear. But it honest, informed, and coming from years of experience in skincare.

I completely agree with Amy S! I tried the home remedies and none of them worked and most ended up just irritating my skin. The only thing that ended up really helping my skin was getting put on birth control to help calm it down along with using a Clarisonic. I wish I wouldn't have wasted the time and money and just gone to a dermatologist first.

A Toner, the best I can recommend is homemade, ( Equal parts ACV, Witch Hazel, distilled water, a tablespoon of Thyme tie in cheesecloth or just leave it in) Use this on a cotton ball after washing your face, working out, or spending a decent amount of time outside. any thyme that ends up on your face will brush away after a few moments when the toner dries.

Thyme kills 5 times the bacteria that Benzoyl peroxide does, and will not counteract if both are used. The thyme is much less of a irritant unless there is a sensitivity

If you want to, you can use a benzoyl peroxide cream or just go straight to moisturizing, Look for something meant for oily, acneic or sensitive skin, The Fresh face oil is perfect for me.
