I just got my hair done and asked for pastel purple but have walked out of the salon magenta pink with a bright band around my head where they bleached my regrowth. I still want coloured hair but not lile this.. :'( how do I fix this?

I would go back to the hairdressers and complain. Explain why you are not happy and ask for them to fix it. Or go to a different hairdressers and they should be able to strip the colour and re apply. Hope you get this sorted and sorry for your bad experience. xx

Oh gosh, I can see why you're upset. I'm currently having a regrowth problem too, my orange roots don't lift to yellow even with 30vol they just lift to like a pumpkin yellow and it sucks trying to get it back to the lilac/silver colour I keep it. I'd maybe ask your hairdresser if she could fix it and let her know that's not how you were expecting it to turn out. If you're looking for a way to fix it yourself what I would probably do is find a purple semi permanent dye like manic panic and mix it with conditioner, mostly conditioner to be sure the colour doesn't come out too dark, leave it on for about an hour or longer as it isn't permanent and will fade+the base of the dye will be conditioner so it won't damage your hair at all. I think it'd help to even the colour out a little bit if that's what you're wanting to do :)
