So far I have not had any trouble with my body modifications and my work but when I graduate college and go start my miserable career in corporate America I could see my body modifications being an issue. I'm kinda nervous to see what happens lmfao but if I had to I could always get my lobes sewed back up & wear long sleeves I guess!

Shaye, thank you! You're right, I will definitely try that :)
my lobes are pretty thick I think. I haven't moved from my current size in like 2 1/2 years and I've been doing jojoba massages consistently still hahaha. I can keep my plugs out now for like a week without them shrinking but I've never gone longer than that with them out because I was scared they would start to close up. :b Your lobes give me hope that mine will shrink when I do take them out! :)

I am a manager in a retail store while I get my business degree, then I'm going to Cinema Makeup School. But I have also worked in food service and administrative positions. Every job I have had has been very strict: food service for safety reasons in addition to appearance, retail for appearance and professionalism. Every associate had to comply, even stock team which works overnight without any customer contact. Sounds harsh, but that's the professional world.
The only places in my area that hire people with mods are tattoo parlors and hair salons (only the "edgy" salons though).

Ooooh! Emily that's interesting! A lot of places over here will hire people with stretchers as long as they're skin coloured plugs (which was what I'd usually have in during school or any courses I did) but they were always on my case about my dahlia piercings which was weird enough (maybe because they're strange, not sure why I even got them) but most of my facial piercings are gone now and this is weird but I have impulses to get piercings so I figured I missed stretchers so why not do it again haha! But now that I think about it you're right in. Sense too because right now I am currently looking for work, in saying that the places I apply at would allow it but I think I may pass it up until I sort my hair colour out lol! < hair is first.
