For all that have tried it... was the whipped better, how was the coverage? and did it break or dry your skin out? Thanks, a lot of you recommended this to me for full coverage, and I just wanted to see how it worked for everyone overall.

I had a bad allergic reaction to it. It made me get small bumps all over my face and it was so itchy. Also the consistency is so strange. I got 2 different colours, one was extremely watery with no coverage, and the other was so thick I couldn't blend it. I wasn't impressed with it at all.

I may just try the Maybelline, Jacqlyn. I'm so scared of breaking out lol.. and what would you recommend Shauna?

I kinda liked the whipped version but I feel like I could never get the right shade. they all seem to have a pinky tone.

I tried the whipped on a whim and ICK didn't like it. I have pores on either side of my nose and out sat in them all weird-like...wasn't good for my dry skin.

I do like the liquid one but I find that it would cling to dry patches

I used the Colorstay after I had a massive breakout from clinique. It didnt ruin my skin, but didnt blend easily either. It was really hard to even out.

I hate the whipped. I've tried it with several application methods and nothing works. I use good primer yet this immediately sinks into fine lines. I also had issues with some places becoming oily fast while some places were so dry and flaky

The whipped is matte so it wouldn't work well with dry skin.As for the revlon colorstay foundations in combo/oily skin and normal/dry skin none of them would have worked for you Jacqlyn since your issue is dry skin because they're a mixed foundation not directed for either or separately as in one specific issue.Have you tried the Colorstay Aqua? Instant hydration with coconut water, its smoother and shine free it gives a luminous finish. Also the line has a great amount of foundations for almost every skin issue or a reason for the finish.I also like revlon airbrush mousse its photochromatics pigments bend and reflect light to minimize flaws and its oil free.

I tried the one for oily skin.

@Kaitlyn what is your skin type?
I personally love L'Oreal True Match Foundation, it's not full coverage. I would say it's about a medium coverage and it is buildable. You may also like Cover Fx, Tarte, MUFE Mat Velvet + (for oily skin).

I hated the whipped but love the original (normal/dry). The whipped does gives a little more coverage but the shades are so off and I felt like it always stayed tacky even with a powder on top. I'm acne-prone and neither broke me out, though.

I tried the whipped formula once and it seemed a little bit too thick for my skin (but I think this was because I tried it when I was still a beginner with foundation, and wasn't applying it properly, I may try it again later), and make my face look cakey. I currently use the liquid formula for oily/combination skin. It works well...I use it with an angled kabuki brush. It gives me great coverage and stays put all day through my usual work conditions (I'm exposed to a lot of heat and steam). I would however like to try something different someday, because even though it gives me good coverage it's not quite giving me that "flawless" look. For right now it'll suffice, and it's one of the few drugstore foundations that actually matches my skin tone without being too orange or yellow.
