I got the same device and I usually only epilate if I notice there's hair growth between waxing sessions, so not often. And so I am hardly a pro but I always make sure the body hair is not too long,, trim it if necessary. I usually don't need to go epilating over the same patch of skin more than once, but if I have to, I pause and let the skin rest for an hour cuz my skin gets extremely red when epilated. I use ice packs after and also an Advil gel capsule when I am finished with eplilating.

I usually epilate after shower bc my hair are like.. Softer so it doesn't hurt as bad as it could. Then, I pull my skin a little bit I don't know why, but it hurts less, (mum's advice, thanks mum). And that's it. It hurts the first time you epilate, then I noticed that my hair grows slower, and in small quantity. That's my experience :) My NUMBER one advice would be, don't be afraid the first time for those of you who never epilated before.
